About the event

Ever wondered how computers "see" and recognize images? In this exciting one-hour workshop, students will discover how artificial intelligence uses computer vision and machine learning to tell cats apart from dogs — and then build their own AI model to do exactly that.

Kids will get hands-on experience with the complete AI workflow: collecting and labeling training images, training their own AI image recognition model on a beginner-friendly platform, and testing it to see how accurate it is. Along the way, they'll learn why AI needs quality data, how it finds patterns to make predictions, and why mistakes happen and how to fix them. The session wraps up with a look at how the same technology powers real-world innovations — from robots and smart cameras to self-driving cars and healthcare tools.

This workshop is a perfect introduction to artificial intelligence for curious kids and families, blending fun, hands-on learning with…
