Step into the future of robotics! In this one-hour workshop, students will explore how modern AI robots can see, hear, speak, and interact with people using technologies like computer vision, speech recognition, large language models (LLMs), and text-to-speech.
Through a live demonstration, kids will meet an AI-powered robot in action and learn the basic AI workflow — Sense, Think, Act — that lets robots understand and respond to the world around them. The best part: students get to interact directly with the AI robot through voice and vision, asking it questions and exploring real-world uses of AI firsthand. The session wraps up with an open discussion on real-world AI applications and how kids can keep learning about artificial intelligence, robotics, and computer science.
