Media Release

This section governs all image, audio, and video capture and replaces any duplicative descriptions in other Vinci documents. By enrolling, you may be offered an opt‑in (or opt‑out where allowed) to Vinci’s media use. Unless and until you decline (or revoke) consent as described below, Vinci may capture, edit, reproduce, display, distribute, publicly perform, and otherwise use still photographs, motion pictures, short‑form video, live or recorded instructional segments, project build images, competition images, and related media featuring the student and/or family members present at Vinci Activities.

Permitted use includes (non‑exhaustive):

  1. Vinci owned or controlled websites and landing pages.

  2. Physical displays (bulletin boards, in‑facility monitors, event signage).

  3. Digital and print brochures, flyers, newsletters, email updates.

  4. Competition submissions, award or grant applications, and internal training.

  5. Social media and community presence (channels listed below).

Current Official Social Media / Publishing Channels (subject to change):

Vinci will not intentionally associate a minor student’s full name with an image or video in publicly distributed marketing materials without additional, specific parental/guardian consent or as required for competition entry rules.

Opt‑Out / Revocation Procedure:

To decline or later revoke consent, send a written request (email) to info@vincisteam.com with: (a) student full name; (b) parent/guardian name; (c) a clear statement of revocation or limitation; and (d) optional description of any specific media to remove (URL or date). Vinci will use reasonable efforts prospectively to cease new publication of Covered Media featuring the student. Previously printed materials or already distributed third‑party content may be impracticable to retract—revocation applies on a go‑forward basis.

Removal Requests:

For hosted online images or videos under Vinci’s direct control, reasonable efforts will be made to remove or obscure the student within 30 days of a validated revocation request, subject to (i) archival backups (not publicly accessible), (ii) required legal/competition record retention, and (iii) technical feasibility. Competition submissions or materials already incorporated into compiled media may not be individually editable.

No Compensation / Ownership:

You acknowledge no compensation (royalty, fee, or other) is due for permitted uses. Vinci (or its licensors) owns or controls all compilation, collective, derivative, and edited works it creates. This does not transfer underlying personal publicity rights beyond the scope of the consent granted herein.

Safety & Appropriate Use:

Vinci will not knowingly publish media reasonably likely to compromise student safety (e.g., displaying easily readable personal addresses, unique identifying documents, or secure access credentials). Media is used to promote educational engagement, student achievements, and program quality.

If you do not agree to these media terms, or wish to limit them, you must follow the opt‑out process above before participation in media‑captured Activities.

If you are a parent or legal guardian you can ask us to deactivate your child’s account, delete any hashed email address or inadvertently collect Personal Data, and request that we no longer allow your child to submit their information to our Site.
