Prerequisite:

  • AI901, or Strong Programming Experience

Course Description:

An introduction to the USA Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (USAAIO), covering foundational AI concepts like search algorithms, machine learning basics, and AI ethics. Students will apply Python programming to solve beginner AI tasks and learn about how AI is shaping the future.

Key Topics Covered

  • 1. Understand key concepts in AI and their real-world applications
    2. Explore algorithmic problem-solving in an AI context
    3. Develop beginner AI solutions using Python or similar languages
    4. Prepare for USAAIO-style problems


Course Structure:

  • Lectures: Engage in interactive lectures covering theory, examples, and problem-solving techniques.

  • Practice Sessions: Work on a wide range of problems to reinforce your understanding.

  • Contests: Participate in mock contests to simulate the actual USAAIO experience.
