Course Details: • Name: V5 Competition II • Date: September 8, 2025 – January 11, 2026 • Time: Tuesdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM • Location: Burlington Classroom • Grades: G7+ • Prerequisite: R701 Students continue their VEX V5 journey, focusing on robot refinement, programming enhancements, and deeper understanding of game strategy and judging. They will enhance sensor integration, learn to debug and test efficiently, and collaborate on award-level documentation. The course is designed to build readiness for state and national-level competition. Learning Outcomes: 1. Refine mechanical design and coding for performance 2. Apply iterative testing to improve reliability and speed 3. Use sensors and PID control for precision 4. Collaborate on engineering notebooks and presentation
