On February 15, official VEX tournaments hosted by VEX Robotics took place in Massachusetts, organized by iSTEAM. The event featured two premier competitions:

🤖 VEX V5 Robotics Competition – Open Tournament

🤖 VEX IQ Robotics Competition – Qualifier Tournament
Event Highlights:
🔘 80+ competitive teams
🔘 60 participating schools
🔘 600+ competitors and spectators
🔘 10+ certified judges
🔘 30+ volunteers
From engineering notebooks to strategic match play, the level of competition remained intense throughout the day.
First in MA to Lock in a Spot at the World Championship
Following last season’s World Championship victory, Vinci students have once again set a new milestone:
They became the first team in Massachusetts to secure qualification for the 2026 VEX World Championship during the state-level season. In one of the most competitive STEM regions in the country, early qualification reflects:
✅Structured engineering design methodology
✅Continuous programming iteration
✅Mature team collaboration systems

This achievement is not accidental — it is the result of a deliberate and replicable training system.
Vinci Students Distinguished in the U.S. AI Olympiad

In the 2026 U.S. Open Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (USAAIO) Global Division, Vinci students delivered outstanding performances:
🏅 1 student achieved High Honor Roll
🏅 1 student achieved Honor Roll
🚀 2 students advanced to Round 2
As a global Olympic-style competition in artificial intelligence, USAAIO focuses on algorithmic logic, data analytics, and computational thinking, serving as an important benchmark for AI academic ability. This achievement reflects students’ strong foundation in AI theory and logical reasoning, as well as the effectiveness of systematic training in strengthening problem decomposition and cognitive modeling.
The upcoming Round 2 is about to begin. We look forward to seeing our students continue striving for excellence and reaching even greater heights!
