The Real Value of VEX: Growth on the Competition Field

Many parents ask us: Is participating in robotics competitions really meaningful?

At Vinci STEAM Education, we always encourage our students to step onto the competition field, because competitions are one of the most authentic forms of learning.

At this recent VEX competition, Vinci students achieved some exciting results:

🏆 Tournament Champion

🏆 Skills Champion

🎫 A team qualified for awards at a Signature Event

🎫 Students also earned a Signature Event ticket

But at Vinci, what we value most has never been just the trophies.

First: Communication and teamwork.

In VEX, no one succeeds alone. Mechanical design, programming, strategy, and driving all require collaboration. Through constant discussion, adjustments, and teamwork, students learn how to solve problems together.

Second: Handling pressure.

Competitions rarely go perfectly. Mistakes happen, strategies change, and adjustments must be made on the spot. Students learn to stay calm under pressure, analyze what went wrong, and keep moving forward.

Third: Real engineering thinking.

Winning a VEX competition isn’t just about building a robot. It requires:

• Solid programming skills

• Extensive driving practice

• Deep analysis of game strategy

Every step is a real engineering experience.

This competition also has special meaning for Vinci students, because the regional championship is coming very soon.

For them, this wasn’t just another event — it was an important opportunity to prepare and sharpen their skills.

At Vinci, what we hope students gain is not only trophies, but the ability to think, collaborate, and grow stronger through every challenge. 🚀
