VEX Worlds 2026 Recap｜The Robot Kids from Puerto Rico🇵🇷

At VEX Worlds 2026, we noticed a group of students from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Mostly because their robot was literally running all over the venue 😂

People kept stopping to take photos and videos — they definitely caught everyone’s attention.

So we decided to do a spontaneous interview with them.

We thought they’d talk about engineering, coding, or competition strategy.

Instead, they said:

“We wanted to get people’s attention.”

“We wanted to make people smile.”

“We hope when people see this robot, they’ll think of Puerto Rico.”

And honestly, that’s when it hit us:

The most meaningful part of robotics education may never be just the robot itself.

It’s about how students turn an idea into something people genuinely remember.

At Innovation Makers, students experience exactly that process — using AI as a foundation to bring ideas to life.

That’s the real meaning of robotics education.

And it’s exactly where our program begins.
