G4+, Saturdays, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM, Newton

Program Description

Course Details: • Name: Vinci AI Explorer • Date: September 14, 2026 – January 24, 2027 • Time: Saturdays, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM • Location: Newton Classroom • Grades: G4+ • Prerequisite: None What if you could make a robot move on its own, see the world around it, make decisions, and even develop its own personality? In Vinci AI Explorer, students bring an intelligent tracked robot to life through hands-on challenges. Using beginner-friendly visual programming, they program robot movement and use sensors to complete autonomous missions. Students then explore AI vision, enabling the robot to respond to what it sees, and AI Agents, using prompts to customize how their robot communicates, behaves, and expresses its personality. No prior coding experience is required. Through Move → See → Think, students gain an exciting introduction to programming, robotics, and modern AI. Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to: Program robot movement using visual block-based coding. Use sensors to create responsive and autonomous behaviors. Design, test, and debug robot missions. Apply AI vision to trigger actions based on visual information. Understand how robots use perception to make decisions. Create AI Agents for natural interaction. Use prompt engineering to customize robot personality and behavior. Combine movement, sensors, vision, and AI into interactive projects.
