Course Details: • Name: Python Blocks Basics • Date: September 8, 2025 – January 18, 2026 • Time: Fridays, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM • Location: Burlington Classroom • Grades: G2+ • Prerequisite: None This beginner-friendly course introduces young students to the fundamentals of computer programming using Python Blocks, a visual, drag-and-drop interface designed to teach Python concepts in an engaging and accessible way. Students will learn the basics of logic, sequencing, loops, and conditionals—all while building fun, interactive projects. This course lays a strong foundation for transitioning into text-based coding in the future. Learning Outcomes: What the Student Will Learn: 1. How to use Python Blocks to create simple programs 2. Key programming concepts: sequences, loops, conditionals, and events 3. Problem-solving through coding challenges 4. How to think logically and debug basic programs 5. Confidence in creating your own mini coding projects
